- Verification requirements.
- Technical limitations.
- Legal retention requirements.
- Security investigations.
- Third-party processing requirements.
7. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN ACCOUNT IS DELETED
Depending on the account and services used, deletion may permanently remove or anonymize information associated with the account.
This may include:
- User profile.
- Name.
- Email address.
- Mobile number.
- Profile photograph.
- Account preferences.
- Child profiles.
- Parent/guardian information.
- Developmental information.

- Other account-associated information.
Some categories may be retained where required or permitted by law.
8. CHILD DATA DELETION
KidsKosmos recognizes that information relating to children requires additional care.
A Parent or Legal Guardian may request deletion of information relating to their Child, subject to applicable law and verification.
A request may concern:
- Child profile information.
- Developmental records.
- Assessment information.
- Therapy-related information.
- Progress records.
- Uploaded media.
- Documents.
- Other Child information associated with the account.
Parents or Guardians may contact:
admin@kidskosmostech.com
for a Child-data deletion request.
9. DELETING A CHILD PROFILE WITHOUT DELETING THE PARENT ACCOUNT
Where supported by KidsKosmos functionality, a Parent or Guardian may be able to request deletion of an individual Child profile while keeping the parent account active.
The availability of this functionality may depend on:
- Account type.
- Organization relationship.
- Active services.
- Legal requirements.
- Record-retention requirements.
Where individual Child-profile deletion is not technically available, the Parent or Guardian may contact KidsKosmos to request appropriate deletion or removal.
10. ORGANIZATION, SCHOOL OR CLINIC ACCOUNTS
Some KidsKosmos accounts may be associated with:
- Schools.
- Clinics.
- Organizations.
- Employers.
- Therapy centers.
- Other institutions.
Where Child information is managed through an organization, deletion may be subject to the applicable relationship between the organization, the Parent/Guardian, the Professional, and KidsKosmos.
A deletion request will be evaluated according to applicable legal requirements and the respective responsibilities of the parties.
11. PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTS
Professionals may request deletion of their KidsKosmos account.
Deleting a Professional account may not automatically delete records that the Professional created in connection with services provided to a Child.
For example, certain records may need to remain available to an authorized Parent, Guardian, organization, or other authorized Professional.
Such information will be handled according to applicable law, legitimate retention requirements, and our Privacy Policy.
12. WHAT MAY NOT BE IMMEDIATELY DELETED
Some information may need to be retained even after an account deletion request.
Examples may include information required for:
- Legal compliance.
- Tax obligations.
- Accounting requirements.
- Regulatory requirements.
- Fraud prevention.
- Security investigations.
- Prevention of abuse.
- Protection of children.
- Dispute resolution.

- Compliance with lawful government requests.
Where information is retained for these reasons, it will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
13. BACKUPS
Some deleted information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups or disaster-recovery systems.
Backup copies may not be immediately accessible or practically removable from every backup system.
Where this occurs, KidsKosmos will take reasonable steps to prevent the information from being restored for ordinary active use except where necessary for:
- Disaster recovery.
- Security.
- Legal requirements.
- Business continuity.
Backup data will be deleted or overwritten according to applicable backup-retention procedures.

These providers may include:
- Cloud hosting providers.
- Database providers.

- Payment providers.
- Communication providers.
- Analytics providers.

Where applicable, KidsKosmos may instruct relevant service providers to delete or de-identify information associated with a deleted account, subject to their legitimate legal and operational retention requirements.
Some third-party services may have independent retention requirements.
15. PAYMENT AND TRANSACTION RECORDS
Deleting a KidsKosmos account does not necessarily mean that all financial transaction records can be immediately deleted.
Information such as:
- Transaction references.
- Payment records.
- Invoices.
- Tax records.
- Refund records.
- Subscription records.
may need to be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal, or regulatory purposes.
Payment-card information handled directly by third-party payment providers is subject to those providers’ policies and retention practices.
16. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Deleting the KidsKosmos application or requesting account deletion may not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through:
- Apple App Store.
- Google Play Store.
- A third-party payment provider.
- Another authorized subscription platform.
Users should separately cancel subscriptions through the applicable platform where required.
Account deletion does not automatically guarantee a refund.
Refunds are governed by applicable law and the relevant payment or app-store policies.
17. ACCOUNT DELETION AND APP UNINSTALLATION
Uninstalling the KidsKosmos application from a device does not automatically delete your KidsKosmos account.
To delete your account, use:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
inside the application, where available, or submit a request through:
admin@kidskosmostech.com
18. ACCOUNT DELETION AND LOGOUT
Logging out of KidsKosmos does not delete your account.
Logging out only ends the current authenticated session.
To permanently delete the account, you must use the account-deletion process.
19. ACCOUNT DELETION AND DATA ANONYMIZATION
In certain situations, KidsKosmos may anonymize information rather than permanently delete it where permitted by applicable law.
Anonymized information is processed so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.
Anonymized or aggregated information may be retained for legitimate purposes such as:
- Security analysis.
- Service improvement.
- Statistical analysis.
- Product development.
- Reporting.
- Operational research.
Such information will not be used to identify an individual where it has been properly anonymized.

- Child-safety violations.

- Applicable laws.
- Court orders.
- Government authorities.
- Regulatory requirements.
- Tax authorities.
- Law-enforcement requests.
- Professional record-keeping requirements.
When the applicable retention period expires, the information will be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of where appropriate.
22. DELETION REQUEST VERIFICATION
Because KidsKosmos may contain sensitive information and information relating to children, we may need to verify the identity and authority of the requester.
This is intended to prevent:
- Unauthorized account deletion.
- Malicious deletion.
- Unauthorized access.
- Deletion of another person’s information.
- Deletion of Child information by an unauthorized person.
Verification requirements may vary depending on the account and request.

- The Parent.
- The Legal Guardian.
- An authorized representative.
- Otherwise legally entitled to make the request.
The information requested for verification will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
24. DELETION REQUESTS FROM CHILDREN
Where applicable law provides children with rights concerning their personal information, KidsKosmos will handle such requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Where Parent or Guardian involvement is legally required, KidsKosmos may request appropriate authorization.
25. DELETION REQUESTS FROM AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES
A legally authorized representative may submit a deletion request on behalf of a User or Child where permitted by applicable law.
We may require reasonable documentation confirming the representative’s authority.
26. WHAT HAPPENS TO SHARED INFORMATION
If information has been shared with an authorized Professional, School, Clinic, Organization, or other service provider as part of the KidsKosmos service, deletion from KidsKosmos systems does not necessarily mean that the same information will automatically be deleted from independently maintained records controlled by that third party.
Where appropriate and legally required, KidsKosmos may request or instruct relevant service providers to delete eligible information.
Users should also review the applicable organization’s privacy policy where relevant.
27. MESSAGES AND COMMUNICATIONS
Deletion may remove messages and communications stored within the KidsKosmos platform.
However, messages or information that were independently retained by another authorized user may remain in that user’s records where legally permitted.
KidsKosmos cannot guarantee deletion of information independently copied or retained outside our systems.
28. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Where a User submits:
- Photos.
- Videos.

eligible content associated with a deleted account may be deleted or anonymized.
Some content may be retained where required for:
- Legal purposes.
- Security.
- Fraud prevention.
- Dispute resolution.
- Professional record requirements.
- Other legitimate purposes.
29. DELETION OF DATA FROM ACTIVE SYSTEMS
Once a deletion request has been verified and approved, KidsKosmos will take reasonable steps to remove eligible personal information from active systems.
The exact technical process may include:

- Record deletion.
- Data anonymization.
- Access-token invalidation.
- Removal of profile information.

30. DELETION FROM SEARCH, CACHE OR TEMPORARY SYSTEMS
Information may temporarily remain in:
- Caches.

- Temporary storage.
- Security systems.
- Backup systems.
where necessary for legitimate technical or legal purposes.
KidsKosmos will take reasonable steps to allow such information to expire or be deleted according to applicable retention procedures.
31. DATA DELETION DOES NOT AFFECT LEGAL RIGHTS
Account deletion does not eliminate:
- Existing contractual obligations.
- Outstanding payment obligations.
- Legal claims.
- Fraud investigations.
- Regulatory obligations.
- Other rights or obligations that legally survive account deletion.
32. HOW LONG DOES DELETION TAKE?
KidsKosmos will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
The time required may vary depending on:
- Verification.
- Account complexity.
- Data volume.
- Legal requirements.
- Third-party systems.
- Security investigations.
- Backup systems.
Where a request cannot be completed immediately, we may communicate the applicable reason where appropriate.
33. CONFIRMATION OF DELETION
Where appropriate, KidsKosmos may send confirmation after the deletion request has been processed.
Confirmation may be sent to the verified email address or other verified contact method associated with the request.
For security reasons, we may limit the information included in a deletion confirmation.
34. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND
Once an account-deletion process has been completed, the account and associated information may not be recoverable.
If you wish to retain your account, you should cancel the deletion request before the deletion process is completed, where cancellation is technically and reasonably possible.
35. RE-CREATING AN ACCOUNT
After account deletion, you may create a new KidsKosmos account if registration is available.
